Joseph Carr Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet, created by the same winery/winemaker that produces the popular Josh line of wines, exemplifies what is so likeable about Napa Cabernets: plush fruit flavors and ripe, smooth tannins. Dark fruit flavors of baked black cherry and black plum get a healthy dose of dark chocolate, vanilla, and clove from aging in French oak barrels.
Columbia Crest Horse Heaven Hills “H3” Merlot
Washington state is really making an impact in the wine world with its robust reds crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. Columbia Crest is well-known for their barrel aging program, which perfectly accents the softer, velvety character of this Merlot. 18 months in oak barrels (⅓ of which are new oak) imparts a nice milk chocolate, vanilla, and toasted almond quality to the traditional Merlot fruit flavors of baked blackberry, blueberry, plum, and mulberry pie.
Hahn is a personal favorite from California’s Central Coast. This blend mirrors the famous reds of Southern France, crafted from varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre.
Handcraft Petite Sirah
Petite Sirah is one of the under-appreciated grape varieties that grow so well in sunny California. Inky color and deep, dark fruit flavors make this a perfect accompaniment to a night by the fireplace or a great home-cooked meal.
Black Cabra Malbec
Sustainably-farmed in Argentina, this mellow Malbec has just enough spice notes to make this a perfect cold-weather wine.
Double Decker Red Blend
A fun blend from the Wente family in California, one of the longest-running family-owned wineries in the state. Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Barbera make this the quintessential pizza wine!
