Andy
Andy grew up in the Lenexa area and has been with Rimann’s since December 1993 when he needed a part-time job during Christmas break from Kansas State University. After graduation, Andy decided to make Rimann’s his career and has enjoyed his relationships with co-workers and customers over the years. He is a member of the Guild of Sommeliers and likes to help customers pick out wines to match their palates. In his spare time Andy is a Rotarian, enjoys golfing, fishing, growing tomatoes, boating on area rivers, watching sports and burning up I-70 to go to KSU sporting events. He also spends time building things out of old wine barrels, which you can see for yourself at the store.
DJ
Darren was born in KC, grew up in Prairie Village and attended Shawnee Mission East High School before going to the University of Texas. In his free time D.J. enjoys spending time with family & friends, watching the local sports teams and seeing local bands perform. He also enjoys watching science programs. At Rimann’s DJ likes the professionalism and passion of the management and tenured staff and enjoys learning new things daily. His favorite things about working at Rimann’s is helping customers and working with the fellow staff members.
Will
Will has been with Rimann Liquors since the summer of 2017. He grew up in Topeka, KS and attended Topeka High School. After high school he stayed in Topeka and went to college at Washburn University. In his free time Will likes to watch movies and is a big fan of watching something he’s never heard of. He also enjoys collegiate and Olympic wrestling. Will loves to help customers find what they are looking for and having conversations with them. He’s a big fan of beers, mainly stouts and IPAs, and he is “slowly but surely” expanding his knowledge of wine.
Ryan
Ryan comes to us from Chicago. He’s been in the KC area since 2017 and started with Rimann’s in September 2018. He enjoys working with the team at Rimann’s because it feels like working with family, our awesome customers, and learning new things about wine, spirits, and beer. When he isn’t working, Ryan can be found hanging out with his girlfriend and dog, Pearle, listening to and playing music, or maybe doing a stand-up set somewhere!
Duke
Duke, a Mexican Red Headed Amazon, has resided in the Lenexa store since February 1986. He enjoys visits from customers and children and is quick with a whistle and requests for a “cracker”.
Steve
Steve grew up in the Kansas City area and has been in the liquor industry longer than any other Rimann’s employee, including Marshall. He began working at Vern Bryant’s store in 1980 and has been on the Rimann staff since 1999 when Bryant Liquors became Rimann Liquors of Prairie Village. Steve enjoys bringing in new products for our ever-changing clientele and has enjoyed the many people he’s worked with over the years. His best asset is product knowledge and memory for detail regarding customer’s tastes and selections. In his spare time Steve enjoys cooking, listening to music, searching for new and ever-better beers and watching old western movies and TV shows.
Paul
Paul has lived in Kansas City his whole life and has been on the Rimann team since August 2005. He enjoys his co-workers and interacting with customers on both the retail and wholesale side of the business. Paul believes his continued product knowledge is one of his better traits and is very comfortable helping customers find the perfect bottle of wine. In his free time Paul likes all kinds of sports, playing with his dog, fixing up his new house, reading books and chilling out.
Ann
Ann was born in Ohio and has lived in the Kansas City area for over 20 years. She began working at Rimann’s in 2005 and loves the atmosphere and working with her co-workers. Ann believes her most useful trait is working in the office and making sure everything “balances.” In her spare time Ann watches NASCAR, movies, loves to cook and try new recipes, and hanging out with friends and neighbors.
Carly
Carly was born in Chicago and grew up in Kansas City. She has been on the Rimann staff since June 2005 and enjoys her fellow employees, getting to try new products that come into the store and broadening her wine knowledge. Carly feels she has a close relationship with most customers that have continued to shop at Rimann’s over the years and hopes they feel like they are valued customers. In her spare time Carly enjoys spending time with her daughters, family and friends, and likes to play sand volleyball.
Brian
Brian is a native of Holton, Kansas and has been with Rimann’s since July 2001. He has worked at both Lenexa and Prairie Village and currently handles the wholesale in Prairie Village. Things he likes best about working at Rimann’s are the people he works with and meeting new people and interacting with the customers. In fact he met his wife at Rimann’s! In his spare time he likes to go bass fishing, spend time with family, play with his beloved dog Taffy, and listen to music.
Chris
Chris is a life long Kansas Citian and has been with Rimann Liquors since 2005. Chris can be found at both the Prairie Village and Lenexa store. He enjoys learning about new products that become available to us and especially enjoys trying them out so he can share the information with our customers. He likes to help customers pick out new products and enjoys helping pair wine and beer with meals they are preparing. In his free time Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, going out and trying new restaurants and cooking new meals. He also enjoys watching movies, playing video games and playing with his dogs.
