The month of March is full of festivities that we all look forward to celebrating.  The biggest celebration being St. Patrick’s Day (which falls on a Saturday this year), turning everyone along the way just a wee bit Irish!  This year marks Kansas City’s 39th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Celebration.  “St. Patrick’s Day is an enchanted time – a day to begin transforming winter’s dreams into summer’s magic.” – Adrienne Cook.  Let’s raise our glass and drink to the start of Spring!

Jameson Irish Whiskey and Bailey’s Irish Cream are the featured spirits in the month of March.

Shamrocker Shooter


  • 1 part Patron Silver Tequila
  • 1 part Midori Melon Liqueur
  • 1/2 part Triple Sec
  • Splash of orange juice


Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.  Shake well.



Irish Paddy


  • 1oz Crème de Menthe (Green)
  • 1oz Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1oz Crème de Cacao (Clear)

Mix together with crushed ice in a glass and garnish with mint leaves.



Irish Car Bomb


  • 10oz Guinness Extra Stout
  • 1oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1oz Jameson Irish Whiskey


Fill a shot glass with Jameson and Baileys. Fill a pint glass about 4/5ths full of Guinness. Drop in the shot glass and drink all in one go.  Note: If you don’t drink it fast enough it will curdle and you will not enjoy the taste or texture in your mouth.



Irish Coffee


  •  1 ½oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1 ½oz Jameson Irish Whiskey
  • 1 Cup Hot Brewed Coffee
  • 1 Tablespoon Whipped Cream
  • 1 Dash Ground Nutmeg

In a coffee mug, combine Bailey’s Irish Cream and Jameson Irish Whiskey. Fill mug with coffee. Top with a dab of whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg.
