Considered the oldest continuously-operating distillery in the United States, it is located on an ancient buffalo crossing on the bank of the Kentucky River in Franklin County and named after the American Bison.
Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a solid bourbon whiskey that performs well in a range of cocktails, particularly when mixing in the sweet or sour end of the cocktail spectrum. Enjoy these recipes or have fun making your own.
- 2 oz. Buffalo Trace
- 1 oz. Lemon Juice
- 3 oz. Club Soda
- 1 tsp. Sugar
Shake with ice and strain into a Collins glass. Add club soda and stir. Garnish with a cherry and a slice of orange.
- 1 oz. Buffalo Trace
- 1 dash Lemon Juice
- 5 ½ oz. Ice Tea Sweetened
- 2 oz. Lemon Lime Soda
Pour into a Collins glass. Pour iced tea then lemon lime soda to fill. Stir and serve.
Frozen White Buffalo
- 1 cup Vanilla Ice Cream
- ¼ cup Buffalo Trace
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
Blend until smooth and garnish with nutmeg.
