Cheesecake
Ingredients:
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers (I buy the box kind already done)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter – melted
- 3 (8oz) pkgs cream cheese -softened
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 beaten eggs
- ½ pint (8oz) sour cream
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Mix crumbs, 2 tablespoons sugar & melted butter together and press in a 10” spring form pan. Beat cream cheese, ½ cup sugar, vanilla and eggs till smooth. Pour in pan on top of the crumbs, bake 40 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes. Mix sour cream, ½ cup sugar and vanilla. Spread over top of cheesecake and place back in the oven for 10 minutes. Top with your favorite topping.
Note: For toppings I like fresh strawberries ( cut in 4th’s) , or a lemon curd, cherry pie filling or maybe a chocolate ganache to name a few. Keep in refrigerator. Serves 10
